KRUNCHTIME
RADIO
In 1997 at Radio X, the goal of “Krunchtime” was to get people fired up before they went out on Saturday night.
After ten seasons and a couple of hundred shows, the “Krunchtime” name eventually moved on—as I began to focus on other projects.
I recently returned from this ‘sabbatical’ and started doing regular live shows and podcasts again.

DJ MUSIC ON THE ONE HAND
As an artist, the podcast format is all about artistic freedom and exploration. “Krunchtime Radio” was and is meant to showcase the many different flavors, edges, textures and emotions of bass music. It’s essentially about telling sound stories and blending different worlds.
CONCEPTS ON THE OTHER HAND
As a concept creator, I love playing with preconceptions and different themes like poetry and science. You may listen, read, and come up with your own interpretation.
LIKE A PUZZLE THAT KEEPS GROWING AND NESTING
As a curator, I love to invite other artists to contribute artwork with their respective styles. Over the past few years, I have collaborated with amazing people including Alex Solman, Tom Arena, M.i.r.u.e.l, and Ken Uwabaki. Sometimes they inspire me to create a whole new series, such as Season XIII, which is based on ancient myths.
